This General Employees’ Pension Fund Administrative Committee oversees administration of both the General Employees’ Plan and the Board of Education Plan.
Announcement of Pension Administration Committee Elections
Elections are being held in November 2025 for the General Employees’ Pension Administration Committee Representative Positions. Elections will be held for the following positions:
- Representative for Active Employees of Atlanta Public Schools
- Representative for Retired Participants from Atlanta Public Schools
- Representative for Active General Employees of City of Atlanta
- Representative for Retired Participants from City of Atlanta.
The qualifying period to announce your intent to run in the election runs from September 1, 2025 to September 15, 2025. Please see the following notices:

Availability of Newsletter
The General Employees’ Pension Fund Administrative Committee has published a newsletter that includes the fund’s latest actuarial valuation results and plan asset values. This newsletter also includes helpful tidbits for plan participants and a list of recent retirements. The Committee also thought that it was important to acknowledge recent deaths of plan participants.
