Announcement of Cost-of-Living Adjustment (COLA) for 2026
The Annual Cost-of-Living Adjustments (COLA) has been determined for 2026 Pension checks. Please see the following chart for the applicable COLA based on your retirement date.
- The “3% COLA” applies for participants retiring under the 1978, 2005, or 2010 amendment.
- The “1% COLA” applies for participants retiring under the 2011 amendment.
- The “2% COLA” applies for participants retiring under the 2025 amendment.
Availability of Newsletter
The Firefighters’ Pension Fund Administrative Committee has published a newsletter that includes the fund’s latest actuarial valuation results and plan asset values. This newsletter also includes helpful tidbits for plan participants and a list of recent retirements. The Committee also thought that it was important to acknowledge recent deaths of plan participants.
